So what's the big deal about snow?  
Well, nothing at all to those of you who live in parts of the country where it is commonplace.

However, here in the southern tip of Texas, it snows very rarely.
In fact, before Christmas Eve 2004, it had not snowed enough to accumulate at all since 1895.
Many local residents saw snow for the fist time in several generations.
